Mary Kate Plaford, 99, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Bethel Manor. She was born June 8, 1915, in Evansville, to the late Charles and Mary (Blunk) Daniels.

She was a gracious individual. She cherished family and friends, maintained a wonderful wit and sense of humor, enjoyed games and crossword puzzles, wrote poetry and made many kinds of crafts. She was a long standing member of Oak Hill Bible Fellowship, and an honored member of the Tawasi Sunday School Class. She touched the lives of many people in a positive way,...

Mary Kate Plaford, 99, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2015, at Bethel Manor. She was born June 8, 1915, in Evansville, to the late Charles and Mary (Blunk) Daniels.

She was a gracious individual. She cherished family and friends, maintained a wonderful wit and sense of humor, enjoyed games and crossword puzzles, wrote poetry and made many kinds of crafts. She was a long standing member of Oak Hill Bible Fellowship, and an honored member of the Tawasi Sunday School Class. She touched the lives of many people in a positive way, up to the time of her passing.

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Aden Plaford in 1965, and her middle son, Aden Edward Plaford in 1962.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary (Ray) Stein of Evansville; son Gary (Linda) Plaford of Bloomington; grandchildren, Jeff Stein, Linda Edge, Heather Jobe, Ruth Ann Plaford, Michael Plaford, Michelle Dinchak and Chris Plaford; and eleven great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Alexander North Chapel. Friends may visit from 1:00 PM until service time. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery at 11:00 AM, Monday, March 28, 2015.
