Roman Foti, 27, of Evansville, passed away Friday, August 4, 2017, at his home. He was born November 3, 1989, in Tulsa OK.
My Mancub is not in pain anymore...On August 4th, 1994 when he was 4 years old he gave his life to our God, and on August 4th ,he was greeted by his God who is the only one with arms bigger than his.... He spent his last 8 months in his forever home with me here in Evansville, Indiana and had just graduated from an outpatient treatment program last week, where he was asked to come back and be a mentor to others who were ravaged by the rapids of addiction. He was found peacefully asleep and sober. In his short life he endured great trauma, and it only served to fuel his profound empathy for all living things. We will swim with you again our precious Roman, where the peaceful river flows...
He would help anyone in need and enjoyed his dogs, fishing, music and working on computer security.
Roman is survived by father, Philip Foti; mother, Andrea Grace-Phillips; bonus dad, Chris Phillips; bonus siblings, Margaret, Sarah, Anna and Seth Phillips; grandparents, Dr. Phil and Marie Foti, Jerry Wangness, Sharon Olson, and Don and Barb Phillips, and aunts, Sara, Toni, and Felicia.
Friends may visit 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2017, at Alexander North Chapel, 4200 Stringtown Road. A Celebration of Life Service and dinner will be held 6:30 p.m., Friday at his home, 2600 Knob Hill Drive, Evansville, IN 47711.
